a very rare car, My father had this car restored 3 years ago but since has health issues and its not being used, Its got a fair amount of cosmetic rust, but the structural rust was dealt with in 2005, sills, chassis arm and inner wings were welded. You are looking at tidying door bottoms, wing bottoms, valance etc. This as a model that was notorious for rust so few survive! The worst parts are the Drivers door, the near side valance and the near side wing. The brake master cylinder was replaced, as were the clutch hydraulics. Now you need to replace the front brake discs and pads, (These are included - genuine BMW replacements). What needs doing is LOTS of tidying, its looking tatty round the edges and needs more TLC than I can give. It starts and runs well. carbs could do with tuning, but there s a spare one in the boot. MOT Expired in early 2006, radiator has been treated with radweld as it leaked. having spent a small fortune on it, its a shame to see it sitting around rusting so Its time to move it on. The wheels are not original, the original weels were taken off for valeting before my father got ill. These will be included in the sale . It has a new set of SEMPERIT tyres at a cost of over £250. A new spare (make escapes me!). The car is on a sorn and will need to be trailered away! its for restoration only, I aint gonna sell it as a breaker. and one thing BANGER RACING - well my opinions on this so called sport are best not printed, so if you have that in mind don ...

1957 Lancia Aurelia B24S Convertible. V5 2500 GT. Complete with rare factory hardtop included. Sold by British Motor Company in San Francisco where it spent it s entire life up until 2002. Owned and restored by DTR Sports Cars of London. Imported by us in 2002. Managing directors car. Fully, and sympathetically restored. Lancia midnight blue, with bordeaux leather interior. Black hand made mohair soft top by us. Hardtop stripped to metal and fully restored including handmade headlining. This car has never been welded due to rust, or accident.
