This Classic Car was bought as a project that i do not have time to finish, im due to move abroad in the next few months hence the sale of this car. The mini comes with full service history, the car does run when jump started but needs a new alternator and a new radiator Its main problem are the sills, the underneath of the door and the front frame, as you can see in the photos are rusty and would need welding/replacing. The radiator was un-repairable and so it has been removed. The engine has been looked at and the only problems are as i mentioned the alternator,radiator, also the indicators need looking at (think it may just be the bulb as all other wiring is fine) The paint will probably need re-doing as a full paint job as small bubbles and patches of rust have started to appear around the car. Good Points: I am selling with 5 original alloy wheels, 2 brand new tyres (the front ones), two bullet style wing mirrors, chrome wheel arches, JVC CD player, Chrome Bumpers and grill - the back bumber is slightly damaged - dented- but repairable. Gear box is in good condition and when alternator was working, the car started first time. It does run well and last time in drove it, i went from Chorley to Blackpool, on the motorway - opened it up! New exhaust system from the manifold, was replaced 6months ago. 1957 Lancia Aurelia B24S Convertible. V5 2500 GT. Complete with rare factory hardtop included. Sold by British Motor Company in San Francisco where it spent it s entire life up until 2002. Owned and restored by DTR Sports Cars of London. Imported by us in 2002. Managing directors car. Fully, and sympathetically restored. Lancia midnight blue, with bordeaux leather interior. Black hand made mohair soft top by us. Hardtop stripped to metal and fully restored including handmade headlining. This car has never been welded due to rust, or accident. It drives flawlessly, and performs in modern traffic and on motorways. Featured in November 2008 Classic and Sportscar. Fully rechromed, superb mechanics. Custom made stainless steel exhaust.
