This auction is for a Ford Capri Laser 1.6The car was first registered on 27/08/1986 on a D plate, the car has 8 months mot and 4 months tax.The interior is very clean and completely dry, there is a slight wear on the steering wheel and some wear and tear on the drivers seat in the usual place apart from this it is very clean, as you can see on the pictures there is a pioneer CD player hidden in the glove box, this comes with the car and has a handy remote. The original Ford tape deck and automatic Ariel are still in the car and work fine but are not connected due to the cd player in the glove box. I did this to keep the car looking as original as possible.The body and underside is very good with NO rust in the usual places ; wings, arches, front suspension mounts. The only damage to the body are two small bits just bellow the window screen (as shown in the pictures) these are usually covered up but i have exposed them for the sake of being honest. The rest of the body is good but there is a key mark down the passenger side, but is hard to see as it hasent gone down to the metal.The car has loads of history documentation; all mot certs, original receipt of purchase, original service booklet and users manual for the car and cassette player, original key with the original ford dealership key ring ect.The car is very mechanically sound and drives well, is reliable and starts every time. 1957 Lancia Aurelia B24S Convertible. V5 2500 GT. Complete with rare factory hardtop included. Sold by British Motor Company in San Francisco where it spent it s entire life up until 2002. Owned and restored by DTR Sports Cars of London. Imported by us in 2002. Managing directors car. Fully, and sympathetically restored. Lancia midnight blue, with bordeaux leather interior. Black hand made mohair soft top by us. Hardtop stripped to metal and fully restored including handmade headlining. This car has never been welded due to rust, or accident. It drives flawlessly, and performs in modern traffic and on motorways. Featured in November 2008 Classic and Sportscar. Fully rechromed, superb mechanics. Custom made stainless steel exhaust.
